Wanted: One Bass Player

Ok ya’ll here’s the scoop.  I hate to say it, but after 3 great years Andre’ has decided to hang up his bass.  We’ve had a blast and will miss him…

But anyway…

We’re currently looking for a bassist to permanently fill Andre’s position.  We’ve got a very full schedule and do make a little money doing this, but don’t expect to get rich quick.  There really are some pretty sweet perks to bein a member of Southbound, BUT this is a business and candidates must meet the following requirements…

1.) MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE!  (We’ve got a busy schedule, we really don’t have much time to train a rookie)

2.) Must have a bass guitar, amp, and vehicle. (obviously)

3.) Must be devoted!   (We practice weekly in Flatwoods, you need to be able to make the drive once a week though the evening is negotiable)

4.) Must be easy to get along with and open to suggestions   (Habitual Drunks need not apply, but a drink here and there is just fine)

5.) Must be able to play ALL GIGS and events booked (the band and customer are all counting on you)

6.) Should have a go getter attitude, we have the desire to move up, so should you.

7.) ABOVE ALL be able to relax and have a good time! That’s what we’re about

I know these requirements seem like a little much and maybe a little stuckupish, but we are professionals and handle all of our clients and potential clients in a professional manner and expect you to do the same.  To us, playing music is fun. That’s why we do it.  We always have a good time, no matter where we’re at! ALSO, singing is a HUGE plus even if it’s just singing backup, but it’s not necessary.  Age is not a factor after all i’m 19 and have been gigging since I was 12 lol!  So, if you love to play, don’t be shy!
